The decision has been taken as many families, because of several reasons, are moving back to India in the post period of COVID-19 pandemic.
As per the schedule set by the Board, CBSE Term 1 board exams for Class 10 will be conducted between 30 November and 11 December, while Class 12 exams for major papers will be held from 1 to 22 December
This year, for Term 1 exams, CBSE will use OMR sheets. Students are only required to mark their responses on the sheet with a blue or black point ball pen
The board will hold Term 1 exams for minor papers from 16 November for Class 10 and 17 November for Class 12 candidates. The major papers will be held from 30 November for Class 10 and 1 December for Class 12
Students will have the option to opt for only one city as a centre of examination for both theoretical and practical. Two separate centres, one for theory and one for practical, will not be allowed
According to an official notice by the CBSE, the CTET 2021 will be conducted from 16 December, 2021 to 13 January, 2022
The exams for Term 1 will be held in November and December this year — while Class 10 exams will commence on 17 November, Class 12 exams will begin on 16 November
The Term 1 internal assessments, projects and practical exams can be held by 23 December, which is the deadline for schools to upload the marks
The CBSE had opened the one-time edit window facility for candidates so that they can make changes in their details if needed.
As per the schedule, the examination will be conducted from 16 December to 13 January, 2022, with the papers being held for the first time in an online mode
CBSE CTET 2021: The last date to make corrections is 3 November and the changes made during this period will be considered final
Candidates, who will appear for Class 10 and Class 12 Term 1 exam 2022, are advised to keep checking the official websites for the release and download of admit cards
Aspirants who have already applied for the eligibility test and wish to make changes or any correction in their forms can do so from 28 October to 3 November
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced this option is for those students who are not in the city of their schools and are residing elsewhere
The term 2 examination will be conducted in March-April 2022 whose format will be decided depending on the COVID-19 situation in the country during that time
According to examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, the announced date sheet is for major subjects while the schedule for minor subjects will be sent to schools separately
As per the schedule, the CBSE CTET 2021 will be conducted between 16 December, 2021 and 13 January, 2022. It will be held in a computer-based mode in two shifts
The board has divided the academic session into two parts from this year. So, instead of one annual exam for Classes 10 and 12 respectively, the board will conduct two term-end examinations

The list of candidates has to be submitted by the school only through online mode. No hard copies of the list have to be sent to the CBSE
