Highlights, India vs England, 5th Test at The Oval, Day 2, Full Cricket Score: India 174/6 at stumps, trail by 158 runsBad day for India, in total. But who is to be blamed? They themselves. Gave too many runs away in the morning session. They have made things worse for themselves. Although there were some close chances which did not go in their way. Made England form partnership. They themselves were not able to manufacture any concrete ones today. This is a very ordinary performance which does not reflect the position this team has granted in the world rankings.

Highlights, India vs England, 5th Test at The Oval, Day 1, Full cricket score: England 198/7 at StumpsStumps, Day 1: On a pitch that had just a little bit of movement, England have performed poorly. They will be the first ones to admit that. But it's not been their fault. India have been brilliant and disciplined at the same time. When wickets weren't coming their way, they ensured - of course Moeen and Cook helped - that the run rate stays under control. It was a collective bowling effort and the fifth bowler was used only to exchange ends. With Buttler at the crease, there's still a scope for late revival but England would know they could do better. Much better.

Highlights, India vs England, 4th Test in Southampton, Day 4, Full cricket score: England win by 60 runs; take series 3-1There were many turning moments in this match. May it be the first day when India had England at 86/6 or Virat Kohli's wicket on the fourth day. But the biggest talking point was the difference between both the off spinners of both teams. Moeen Ali got nine wickets on a condusive pitch while R Ashwin struggled on a Day 3 pitch in 38 overs. He might have been injured or unfit but that is surely one of the biggest reasons as to why England edged India in this Test. Nonetheless, this was a hard earned victory for England. They have found a gem of a cricketer in young Sam Curran, who has already become a crisis player of sorts for this Joe Root-led team. That he picked the final wicket of the match will give him immense satisfaction. The series has been clinched. Another 'what could have been' tale for Indian cricket in overseas Test series. Virat Kohli and Co's wait for an overseas victory in SENA countries continues.

Highlights, India vs England, 4th Test in Southampton, Day 3, Full Cricket Score: Hosts lead by 233 at stumpsEngland end the day with 260 on the scoreboard and are 233 runs ahead. They still have two more wickets in hand with Sam Curran still out there. India will not breathe easy until they bowl them out, neither are England assured of their position. Still it could be anybody's game, very evenly poised, perhaps England might just have their noses ahead. Shami was the pick of the Indian bowlers with three wickets in the day. Jennings and Root did start well, but both dismissed by Shami, pinned the former and caught Root napping with a bull's eye. Stokes and Buttler got England back on track, Ashwin had the better of Stokes again after doing bulk of the bowling throughout the day. Buttler went on to stich another important half-century. Curran showed his class with the bat once again. Eight wickets fell in the day as England scored 254 runs on the third day.

Highlights, India vs England, 4th Test in Southampton, Day 2, Full Cricket Score: Hosts trail by 21 runs at stumpsStumps, Day 2 Again a day filled with twists and turns aplenty but it was the stoic Cheteshwar Pujara, who grabbed the headlines for a gutsy century. Brilliant knock from India's number three, showing his mental toughness and ability to grind down opposition. He fittingly remained unbeaten till the very end and also led the team out after the day's play with his mate applauding in the backdrop. Always lovely to see someone like Pujara, who doesn't always takes the limelight and does the hardwork, but today it should be all about him England openers negated the four overs before close of play. We are once again in the third innings of the Test in the second day of the match. England trail by 21.

Highlights, India vs England, 4th Test in Southampton, Day 1, Full Cricket Score: India 19/0 at stumps, trail by 22712 off the last over of the day. Expensive one. But Broad allowed only eight as Buttler conceded four byes. The wobble after the ball leaves the batsmen is troubling keeper from both the sides. Anyways, it's stumps on Day 1. India are 19/0.

Highlights, India vs England, 3rd Test at Nottingham, Day 4, Full Cricket Score: England 311/9 at stumps; India one wicket away from winWhat a roller-coaster of a day. India started off with four wickets in the first session. Then Buttler and Stokes led England's fightback with 89 runs in the second session without losing a wicket. India were desperately looking to break 169-run stand. That's when Bumrah stepped up and and delivered the spell of the Test. He scythed through the middle and lower order to clinch a five-for. The tail did frustrate at the end but India are just one wicket away from clawing back into the series.

Highlights, India vs England, 3rd Test at Nottingham, Day 3, full Cricket Score: England need 498 more to winStumps, Day 3 So, Cook and Jennings survive the tricky passage of play before close of play, ensuring England have all their 10 wickets intact. India in pole position to win the Test. Lot of time left in the match – two whole days – as well Kohli leads the team off the field. For the record, England still need 498 runs if any one is interested. Without a shadow of doubt this has been an out and out India's day.
