Camera features

You can basically get a final HDR+ photo in real-time in your viewfinder so you do not have to fiddle with the settings before taking the photo. There are separate sliders for brightness and shadows. The phone will also come with automatic white balancing and there will be an updated portrait mode with a sharper background blur. There is also a new Astrophotography feature which will let you take photos of the night sky and it will bring out the entire Galaxy, at least that’s what the demo is showing.

HDR+ will be coming on Pixel 4. It will use 9 underexposed shots and combine them to provide a detailed photo. There will be a tele-photo lens for the first time on Pixel phones and it will come with Super Res Zoom which will be used on both the lenses.

DisplayMate has given the Pixel 4 XL’s as the best smartphone display and an A+ rating. 90 Hz refresh rate is coming to the Pixel phones for the first time. It will come with Android 10, and will be priced starting at $799.

The Pixel 4 comes with radar has the fastest secure face unlock on any phone and thanks to the Soli chip. Motion Sense feature will start working even before you have picked up the phone. It also brings new gesture controls and there are additional features for helping in gaming and digital wellbeing. According to a report by 9to5 Google, the upcoming Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will most likely come with a 90 Hz ‘Smooth Display’. Nikkei reports that while the regular Pixel 4 devices will support LTE, a “test production” of a 5G-enabled Pixel 4 will also be shown.
