Fallout: New Vegas DLC Announced, Dated

Even though Fallout New Vegas was basically Fallout 3.5, it was an enjoyable RPG that let players explore yet another wasteland in the form of the Mojave Desert. And now if you’re looking at returning to this post-apocalyptic wasteland you can do so in the form of some DLC that’s exclusive to the Xbox360 as of now.

Dead Money as its aptly called will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace by the 21st of December 2010 for 800 MS points and will allow players to “recover the legendary treasure of the Sierra Madre Casino.”

The Sierra Madre Casino was an opulent and extravagant resort that was supposed to be the greatest casino in the west – except that it never opened. Bombs fell before the gala opening, and the Sierra Madre froze in time, its state of the art security system locking the place up tight. Nothing could get in, and none of the guests could escape. Years passed. The climate control and air conditioning system within the facility began to spit toxins into the surrounding city, causing a slow cloud and haze to form over the area – which proved lethal to anyone who tried to explore the city.

So now armed with your Pip Boy you explore this legendary ghost town in the hope of finding lost treasure. Sounds cool but I hope it comes to the PC fast.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now. see more
