HTC 10 evo launched for Rs 48,990 in India; comes with 16MP camera, Snapdragon 810 and more

HTC has launched its latest variant of its flagship model in the form of HTC 10 evo. This phone launched in Taiwan in November, will be selling in India for Rs 48,990 on the HTC India e-store.


HTC has launched its latest variant of its flagship model in the form of HTC 10 evo. This phone launched in Taiwan in November, will be selling in India for Rs 48,990 on the HTC India e-store.

The HTC 10 evo comes with a 5.5-inch QuadHD display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection atop it. The phone has a metal unibody design which is water-resistant in nature. It houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset along with 3GB RAM. It is strange to see a phone with a generation old processor. In terms of storage, you get 32GB of onboard storage with the option to expand it to 2TB using a microSD card.

The HTC 10 evo runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, along with the HTC skinning atop it. There is a fingerprint scanner below the display for protecting your device.

On the camera front, you get a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), 4K video recording and it supports phase detect autofocus as well. On the front, you get an 8MP camera along with a screen flash option to help you take well lit selfies in dark conditions.

The HTC 10 evo comes with a dual-adaptive USB Type-C enabled headphones which will adjust the music output according to your ear structure and hearing. This is paired with HTC's BoomSound Adaptive Audio. There is a 3200mAh battery powering the device and it supports quick charging as well. This means that there is no 3.5mm audio jack on this phone.

The HTC 10 evo comes with 4G LTE support, NFC, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.
