The WEF's annual meeting, which has been taking place in Davos for the past 50 years, is occurring digitally this year due to the COVID pandemic. The virtual event will continue till 21 January
The event will also witness the participation of head of states, top industry leaders, international organisations and civil society, who will deliberate on critical challenges being faced by the world today and discuss how to address them
The week-long World Economic Forum's summit will also have two virtual sessions: the first on COVID-19 and the second on technology cooperation in the fourth industrial revolution
She said, "The climate and ecological crisis can unfortunately no longer be solved within today's systems."
