Lamborghini had recently launched the Aventador S in December last year. And now we have news that it is making its way to India as well. According to CarDekho, Lamborghini will launch its redesigned supercar in India on 3 March.
Indeed this would make it the second vehicle to be launched in the country this year after the RWD Huracan. The Lamborghini Aventador S that comes with the S badge, features facelifted front and rear, but also comes with plenty new goodies inside.
The successor to the Aventador LP700-4, the Lamborghini Aventador S comes with additional 40bhp, a four-wheel steering system and a new 'Ego' driving mode. Lamborghini has done some fine adjustments to make the Aventador’s 6.5-liter V12 to produce 730bhp and 509 lb-ft of torque. According to the company, the new S model can go from 0-100kmph in just 2.9 seconds. The top speed of the raging bull is 217 mph which is approximately 350kmph.
It still gets three driving modes – Strada (Street), Sport and Corsa (race) but now you also get a new Ego setting. This mode allows drivers to individually tweak the car’s drivetrain and suspension settings.
Coming to the price, CarDekho pegs it at hefty Rs 5.5 crore.
This year however, all eyes are on the Lamborghini Urus SUV which is expected to be unveiled in China.
