“After my Knesset address, PM Netanyahu and I are on the way to an exhibition which showcases strides made in the world of technology,” PM Modi posted on X, sharing a picture of the two leaders.

Earlier, Israel Parliament conferred the ‘Speaker of the Knesset Medal’ on PM Modi after his address in the Israeli Parliament. The Indian Prime Minister is the first leader to receive this medal.

The medal was conferred in recognition of PM Modi’s exceptional contribution through his personal leadership to strengthen strategic relations between India and Israel.

After his speech in Knesset, PM Modi interacted with members of the Israeli parliament. The MPs took selfies and photographs with PM Modi.

In his speech, PM Modi said there is great admiration for Israel’s resolve, courage, and achievements in India.

PM Modi said that at the heart of the India-Israel partnership are the ties between our peoples.

‘Car diplomacy’

The car ride come days after PM Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron travelled together in the same car on February 17 to attend the India-France Innovation Forum in Mumbai, in a symbolic display of their close ties.

PM Modi’s recent diplomatic engagements have drawn attention for an increasingly visible personal touch — what observers describe as his “car diplomacy.”

In a series of high-profile meetings, PM Modi has shared car rides with several world leaders, using the informal setting to signal warmth and personal rapport.
