Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav may claim that that the next elections will be dominated by the Third Front, but BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad has rubbished the claims of a stable Third Front coming to power in 2014.
“There was no hope for the Third Front. Third Front is history,” he told CNN IBN.
Though he believes there will be early polls in 2013 and questioned the stability of the government at the Centre, Prasad said that it was difficult to see the Third Front composed of Samajwadi Party and the Left parties emerging victorious.
Only a BJP-led coalition or a Congress-led coalition could play a decisive role in Indian politics, he added.
