For 25-year-old Abdul Mirza, life has ceased to be something that is to be enjoyed. In 2007, this young man lost a leg during the Mecca Masjid blast in Hyderabad. Although he somehow survived that deadly blast, Mirza was again grievously injured due to the twin blasts in Hyderabad on Thursday.

He was seriously injured in his back and is now under observation after being operated at a Hyderabad hospital.

“He was operated upon last night and all foreign bodies were removed. He is under observation now. In 2007, he was injured in the Mecca blasts. That time I didn’t think he would survive, but he did. I believe in the judiciary and the police. I am sure law will do its duty,” said one of his relatives.
