As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is headed to a landslide victory in the Delhi assembly elections, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has said that “people have voted for change”.

“It was very obvious from all the meetings in Delhi that people wanted change. I suppose they’ve voted for change. My congratulations to those who won. For the rest of us, it just means we have to work harder and be responsive to people’s issues,” said Priyanka.

Earlier in the day, there were hopes that Congress may win a seat this time as one of the candidates, Devender Yadav, was ahead on the Badli seat. However, he lost the lead soon.
