It was always going to be tough for Marsh out in the middle after injuring himself in the first innings. He saw a slower ball and went for a wild slog, failed to time his shot and got caught in deep. He is limping back to the hut. Things doesn’t look good for him.

When you are bowling to the lower order, you want someone who can bowl fast and target the stumps. Saini did the same and got two wickets – Rashid and Bhuvi, both lost their stumps. Unimaginable collapse this from SRH and Mitch marsh is forced to come out to bat. 22 needed of 12 balls.

Saini has surely won it for RCB here. Another wicket for the pacer and another bowled dismissal. Rashid also was done for the pace. It was bowled at 144.9 kph on good length at off stump, before Rashid could get his bat high, the ball had cleaned up the stump.

Saini takes the wicket of Bhuvi who was done for the pace. It was a good length delivery which came in with the angle and Bhuvi just couldn’t get the bat to the ball and lost his stumps.

Two wickets in the over and things have gone from bad to worse for SRH. Garg was the first to get out. He tried to play a scoop but only got the ball onto his helmet which was eventually deflected onto the stumps. Sharma was the next batsman to get out, he wanted a double but unfortunately crashed into his partner Rashid trying to take the run and fell short of his crease. More importantly, Rashid is not looking good. He is on the floor. 29 needed in last three overs.

Sharma is run out but the bigger concern is the collision he had with his partner Rashid trying to take double. Rashid is lying down on the floor and the medical team is having a look. SRH in deep trouble.

Unfortunate dismissal. Garg was looking to play the scoop shot but the lack of pace made it difficult to time the shot and he scooped it onto the helmet and the ball got deflected to the stumps later.

The more we praise Chahal, the less it would be. What an over by the leggie! His final over and potentially the over that has turned the game on its head. Two brilliant googlies have got him two wickets in two consecutive deliveries. Bairstow was a bit casual as he went for a big heave and let the ball break his stumps while Shankar was guilty of not reading the delivery. He went playing for leg spin but the ball got through the gap between pad and bat. Chahal ends with figures of 4-0-18-3.

Two in two for Chahal, he’s on hat-trick now. Another googly but Shankar was playing for the leg spin. He got his foot forward and the ball spun back in, through the gap, onto the stumps.

The big wicket is here and Chahal is the man who gets it for RCB. Really poor cricket by Bairstow after a fantastic innings. It was a googly but Bairstow had already decided to play the sweep to midwicket and the slow nature of the delivery got him castled.

Steyn back into the attack and gives away 13 runs. Bad bowling from the veteran. Bairstow guided the full delivery through the gap between keeper and short third man for a boundary, Garg got a boundary with a cracking pull shot while Bairstow was also put down by Padikkal at deep midwicket. To be fair it was a very difficult chance and Padikkal put in a good forward drive. There was also an appeal for run out against Garg as he took a double but the batsman was well inside the crease.

Fifty for Bairtsow. He was brilliant last season and he has made a good start this season as well. He, however, could have been back in the hut before reaching to his fifty but Steyn made a mess of the skier in the deep. He failed to judge the shot and missed the catch. Bairstow finished the over with a creamy cover drive. SRH have crossed the 100-run mark but the required rate is over 9 at the moment.

Good over by medium pacer Shivam Dube. Just five coming from it. Priyam Garg is the new batsman and he looks a little nervy. Manish Pandey deserves some blame here. He could have simply continued but instead his moment of madness has opened the door for RCB.

Chahal finally has his first wicket today. It’s the minimum he deserves today for the quality of his bowling. Manish Pandey fell trying to clear the boundary at long off after just surviving a close DRS call as he was beaten trying to play a square cut. Earlier, four runs came as a bye after both Bairstow and keeper Phillipe completely missed the googly by the leggie.

A wicket for Chahal! He deserved a wicket for how good he has bowled today but not good batting by Manish Pandey. He could have just let it go, instead went for an expansive drive on off, the ball spun a little and went straight to Saini at long off.

Really good over by Saini. His line has been very impressive today. Only five runs from the over and he could have had a wicket as well after Bairstow crashed his drive straight to Finch at short cover but he let it through. Let’s see how costly it proves to be!

Six from the over. There’s no need to take any risk against Chahal and SRH batsmen know this. The plan is to see him off and they can always attack the other bowlers. Simple calculation.

Another expensive over for Umesh. To be honest he wasn’t very bad in the over but modern cricket is a different beast. He started off well but then Bairstow somehow managed to get under one of the deliveries for a scoop and a six. The next delivery there was an inside edge but it ran past the keeper for a boundary. 13 from the over. SRH need 92 from 66 balls.
