Yuvraj Singh, Hazel Keech approached for wild card entry in Nach Baliye 8?
Yuvraj Singh will be committed to the IPL in the next two months but is figuring out dates to shoot for Nach Baliye 8 with Hazel Keech after that.
After shaking a leg together in their wedding sangeet and reception last November, cricket Yuvraj Singh and actor Hazel Keech may soon be seen doing the same on the stage in a dance reality show.
News 18 reports that the newlyweds have been approached to participate in Nach Baliye 8, the show which follows the format of pitting real life celebrity couples against each other, based on their dancing abilities. However, India Today reports that there are issues with Singh's dates since he will be occupied with the Indian Premier League for the next two months whereas the show is slated to air from 2 April onwards.
But the makers have figured a way out. They have offered Singh and Keech to be a wild card entry in the show. Once the cricket mega affair comes to a wrap, Nach Baliye will continue to air. Thus, Singh and Keech can enter the competition as a wild card entry then.
It is no surprise that the cricketer loves dancing. He was seen shaking a leg to his heart's content during his wedding reception. He even danced with actor-cum-VJ Ranvijay Singh Singha and fellow cricketer Virat Kohli. Keech was also seen dancing to the tunes of the popular item number 'Aa Ante Amalapuram' in Kabeer Kaushik's 2012 crime thriller Maximum.
The contestants who have already been finalised for the show are Divyanka Tripathi-Vivek Dahiya, Bharti Singh-Harsh Limbacheye, Sanaya Irani-Mohit Sehgal, Pritam-Amanjot Singh, Dipika Kakkar-Shoaib Ibrahim, Siddarth Jadhav -Trupti, Sanam Johar-Abigail Pande, Mona Lisa-Vikrant Singh and Utkarsha Naik-Manoj Verma.
Nach Baliye 8 will be judged by actor Sonakshi Sinha, choreographer Terrence Lewis and filmmaker Mohit Suri. Its season premiere will be guest hosted by actor Ranbir Kapoor. The show will subsequently be hosted by Karan Tacker.
