Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son Anant Ambani is all set to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant on July 12. The pre-wedding festivities are happening from March 1 to March 3. Ahead of the grand celebrations, let’s have a look at Reliance’s scion’s weight-loss journey.
Anant Ambani has battled obesity but losing 108 kilos in a span of mere 18 months was a transformation that was for everyone to see. His celebrity fitness trainer Vinod Channa was rigorously involved in Ambani’s transformation and put him on a strict diet and workout regime.
He used to workout for 5–6 hours every day and his workout routine consisted of weight training, functional training, yoga, cardio, and a 21-kilometer walk.
Vinod Channa’s statement
“I also used to give him break diets so that he felt motivated for regular workouts. Workout sessions, with time, became fun and enjoyable for him,” Channa said.
He added, “His diet includes lots of vegetables, sprouts, cottage cheese, lentils, pulses, and half a teaspoon of ghee. This was the only diet he had to stick to. His calorie consumption in a day was 1200 -1400 calories.”
**Wedding Festivities**The mega event will be attended by Bollywood celebs along with global leaders and influential personalities. The grand 3-day pre-day event will have a lavish menu comprised of 2500 dishes. These delicacies will be served across three days and there won’t be any repetitions. As per ABP report, the breakfast will have over 70 options, while lunch and dinner will give more than 250 choices.
The midnight snacks will also be served from 12 midnight to 4 AM and special care of vegan guests will be taken by providing them vegan dishes. The menu will be comprised of Indori, Parsi, Thai, Mexican, and Japanese, along with pan-Asian dishes.
**3-day pre-wedding festivities plan**Day 1 theme and wardrobe: “An Evening in Everland,” with the dress code set as “elegant cocktail attire.”
Day 2: On the second day, there will be two events. In the first one, comfortable footwear and attire are recommended subsequently translating to a ‘dazzling desi romance’.
The festivities will include the endearing aspects of joyous Indian family celebrations – Music, Dance, Carnival fun, visual artistry and a special surprise performance
