Watch: Varun 'Humpty Sharma' searching for his Dulhania

Mumbai: Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which reunites Varun Dhawan with his ‘Student of the Year’ co-star Alia Bhatt, is all set to hit the big screen on 11 July.

Produced by filmmaker Karan Johar, the film is a romantic comedy. While the first look of Shashank Khaitan ddirected film is out, the trailer would be launched on 26 May.

“Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania’…first look! starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt… trailer out 26th May!! Release… 11th July,” Johar tweeted with a picture.

In the first look we see Dhawan dressed as a simple Punjabi guy — Humpty Sharma describing the kind of bride he would want. He says that he wants a bride who would be as beautiful as Katrina Kaif or Deepika Padukone, however, he doesn’t want to be picky and even if the girl isn’t as pretty as these actresses he is ready to tie the knot. Humpty confesses with shyness that he feels lonely without a wife and is very eager to get married.

Alia’s last film ‘2 States’, also produced by Johar turned out to be a major hit as the movie made it to the 100 crore club. While Varun’s Main Tera Hero was also a hit.
