Malayalam actor Bhavana gets engaged to Kannada producer Naveen in a private ceremony

Malayalam actor Bhavana got engaged to Kannada film producer Naveen in an initimate ceremony attended by family members and close friends in Kochi.

India Today  reports that the two were supposed to get engaged back in 2014 but could not do so as they were preoccupied with work commitments. The New Indian Express reports that the two lovebirds met each on the sets of PC Shekhar’s 2012 romantic comedy Romeo.

The same report states that Bhavana’s mother revealed that their marriage was fixed by Bhavana’s father before he passed away. Honouring one of her father’s last wishes and her relationship with Naveen that has lasted for five years now, she went on to get engaged with him on 9 March.

Though the engagement was supposed to be a private function, a picture from the get together got leaked on the internet. Film critic Ramesh Bala shared the picture on Twitter and congratulated the couple on their engagement. As seen in the picture, Bhavana’s good friend and fellow Malayalam actor Manju Warrier was also present at the function.

Bala also mentioned in the tweet that the date of their wedding has not been finalised yet. The Times of India reports that marriage is not on the cards anytime soon as Bhavana is busy shooting for two big films - Jean Paul Lal’s comedy thriller Honey Bee 2: Celebrations opposite Asif Ali and Jinu Abraham’s thriller Adam opposite Prithviraj Sukumaran.
