Madhuri Dixit on reuniting with Anil Kapoor after 19 years for Total Dhamaal: He'll always be the same
Madhuri Dixit will be seen sharing the screen space with longtime co-star Anil Kapoor after a gap of 19 years in Total Dhamaal.
Madhuri Dixit, who was last seen in Marathi film Bucket List, returns to Bollywood with Total Dhamaal. Dixit is seen sharing the screen space with former co-actor and friend Anil Kapoor after a gap of 19 year. They were last seen together in Pukar.
At the trailer launch, when asked if Anil Kapoor has changed since their last film together, Madhuri said, "I don't think Anil can ever change. He will always be the same," reports India Today. She added that it is always pleasure working with Anil, and he is one of a kind.
Dixit has enjoyed successful collaborations with director Indra Kumar and producer Ashok Thakeria in films like Dil (1990), Beta (1992), Raja (1995) in the past. With Total Dhamaal, Dixit, Kapoor and director Indra Kumar will reunite after their last hit film Beta.
While talking about working with other actors, she said it was a brilliant star cast and it was wonderful teaming up with everyone. She added that the primary reason for giving a nod to the film was its screenplay. It was so funny and gave her something different to do after a long time, so she just could not say 'no' to the film.
Stating that she had fun on the sets of the film, Madhuri said, “The amount I have laughed in between the shots with this team, if the audience laughs even half of it, this film will be a success.”
