Harry & Meghan’s arrogance: Snubbed the Queen Elizabeth II on Lilibet’s birthday, former staffer claims

A former employee of the late Queen Elizabeth II has claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ignored the monarch’s invitation to celebrate Princess Lilibet’s first birthday with her.

According to reports, Paul Burrell, who once served as footman at Buckingham Palace, claimed the royal couple snubbed the Queen when she wanted to celebrate their daughter’s first birthday in June 2022, amid her Platinum Jubilee festivities.

“Even on Lilibet’s first birthday the Queen didn’t see her,” Burrell told The Mirror on 8 September, the one-year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s passing. “She saw her the day before. But on her birthday, the Queen had a birthday cake made with one candle in it. And they never turned up. That candle was never lit.”

Named after the Queen’s family nickname—Lilibet—this youngest great-granddaughter held a special place in the Queen’s heart. The Queen kept waiting with the birthday cake, but wasn’t allowed to celebrate. Burrell has claimed that the monarch invited Harry and Markle to celebrate Lilibet’s birthday as she was unable to attend the birthday party organised by the two of them. But she was snubbed by the couple. Meghan, a control freak

We all know that  Meghan is a control freak and the mastermind behind Harry’s controversial memoir  _Spare_. The rumors, according to royal expert Tom Bower has once said, “There are many now in London who say Meghan is getting tired of Harry.” There is speculation that the Duchess of Sussex, 41, will at any moment say ‘This is enough’ and negotiate with King Charles III some deal to break off the marriage.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond says Meghan Markle is ‘an absolute control freak’ who wants to be in control of every aspect of her life, “she is not used to having to cede control in anyway whatsoever. The Duchess of Sussex has said it takes “a lot of effort” to forgive and hinted that she can “say anything” as she sat down for a wide-ranging interview in the US.

According to latest news, King Charles has banned Harry and Meghan out of the new royal documentary. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been snubbed by the palace after they were allegedly “left out” of an all-new royal documentary to celebrate King Charles III.
