The first look of Kabir Khan's period drama Tubelight upped the curiosity as it had its protagonist Salman Khan's back turned towards the viewers. Salman has released yet another poster which shows his front profile.

He is seen wearing a blue and white checkered shirt and a brown sleeveless sweater. Unlike the first look, he is neither wearing a cap or a brown coat in this one nor carrying a sling bag. However, in an interesting addition, he has his boots hanging from his neck as if he is crossing a murky area.

Since the film is set in the Indo-China War of 1962, his character might be navigating the war zone in this poster. This is also suggested by his hesitant salute, accompanied by a rather scared expression, as if he is pleading to the soldiers not to shoot him.

Also, the pertinent question - 'Kya tumhe yakeen hai?' (do you have faith) - is spelled out in the poster, just like in the first look. The poster further retains the curiosity aroused by the first look as it gives out too little about the premise or plot of the film.

In an exclusive interview to Firstpost, Kabir clarified that the film is not a war drama. "The war is just the backdrop. It is not even the setting so it is not really a war film. The setting is remotely away from the war site. We do not explore why the war happened, how it happened. There is just one character who goes to the war." As can be guessed by the poster, that character is probably that of Salman.

Tubelight also stars Chinese actor Zhu Zhu, Sohail Khan, the late actor Om Puri and a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. It is co-produced by Kabir and Salman Khan Films and is slated to release this Eid on 26 June.
