Los Angeles: The 86th annual Oscar Awards will take place on March 2, 2014 while the 87th Oscar presenatation would happen on February 22, the Academy has announced.
The next year’s Acamedy award process will begin from November 16 with the Governors award. Nominations voting will begin on December 27 with the nominations being announced on January 16, a released said here.

The awards next year have been delayed because of the Winter Olympics which are set to run from February 7 through February 23, according to Variety.
2014 Super Bowl will begin on February 2, which saw the Grammys moving to January 26, forcing Academy Awards to push into March. PTI
