Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ Unveils RNR4450 Network Storage

Netgear Technologies India has announced the availability of Netgear ReadyNAS RNR4450 100EUS 1100 - a 2TB Dual Gigabit Rackmount Network Storage (4X500GB) Box.

In order to make it easy to manage and operate, Netgear ReadyNAS RNR4450 comes with embedded Linux operating system and it does not require any additional software to install or per-user licensing requirements.

ReadyNAS RNR4450 comes with 4 hot swappable 500GB HDD in a ultra-short 12 inch 1U rack mount design in which HDD are initialised and system is pre-configured in RAID 5 mode for immediate use.

It has Dual Gigabit Ethernet Interface with native support for Windows, Macintosh and Linux/Unix Clients (CIFS/SMB, AFP, NFS) as well as FTP and HTTP support with built-in system monitoring with SNMP and e-mail alerts. It is compatible with SATA and SATA-II HDD.
