With the influx of traffic in cities today, there is an alarming increase in disregard towards safety. In cities riddled with a steady flow of traffic and plenty of intersections with traffic lights, all that reckless driving is going to save is just a couple of minutes. A little more caution, on the other hand, could save a life.

This road safety commercial from the TAC (Transport Accident Commission) of Australia shows a crash between a Yamaha R1 doing 68kmph and a Honda sedan pulling out from an intersection. The grisly incident is rewound and the video continues to show the bike doing 60kmph instead. Just a difference of 8kmph allows the rider to easily control the motorcycle and dodge the approaching Honda. Take a look.
