So far we have seen plenty of blurry spy shots of the upcoming TVS Apache RR 310S. When launched it would indeed be a performance oriented sportsbike that has been designed in partnership with BMW's Motorrad division. While the launch of the same is expected to take place in August, Apache fans would be happy to know that the first clear images of this motorcycle have surfaced online. And despite the heavy camouflage, it still looks pretty cool.
The RR 310S was spotted testing in Tamil Nadu and the images that have surfaced online come from maxabout.com. The is camouflage all over the bike leave for the wheels, the lamps and the instrument cluster. Also exposed was that massive exhaust canister which was also visible in the previous leak.
Despite its 313 cc single-cylinder liquid cooled engine, the motorcycle thanks to its fairing, bodywork and sports suspsension (upside down forks at the front) has the presence of the bigger half litre or litre-class bikes.
The front showcases the HID projectors with LED DRLs, while the back showcases the unique looking tail lamp. All four indicator lights appear to use LED lamps as well.
The exhaust system seems to be lifted off the BMW G310R while the tyres comes from Michelin.
Coming to the engine, it is a 313 cc single-cylinder, liquid cooled BMW engine coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. It is capable of producing 34 hp and 28 Nm of torque, but that is in the BMW 310R. With better aerodynamics expect the top speed and handling to be a lot better.
The TVS Apache RR 310S is expected to be launched in August 2017.
