Narendra Modi began his three-day visit to China on Thursday and from the moment he stepped out of the plane in an orange kurta and his trademark jacket, Twitter went berserk over his photographs. #ModiInChina started trending on Twitter and became the top trend in just a couple of hours.
Add to that images of a sunglasses-wearing Modi with the statues at the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi’an, and there was a flood of memes all over social media.
