Zopo Color X 5.5 launched in India; 5.5-inch display, 3GB RAM, 8MP camera at Rs 11,999

Chinese smartphone maker Zopo has announced its all new Color X 5.5 that adds to its Colour series of smartphones. The device that comes after the recently announced Flash X Plus is priced at Rs 11,999 and will be available offline at major retail stores across the country starting from 20 April.

The Color X 5.5 features a metal body with a fingerprint reader that is placed on the front below the display. The fingerprint reader also doubles up as the Home button which can be customised to execute certain functions as well.

As for the specifications, the Colour X 5.5 features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 chipset. There’s 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage that supports expansion using a microSD card slot. The device will be able to read cards of up to 64GB in capacity.

The Zopo Color X 5.5 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and runs its customised CoolUI 8.0 on top to keep things refreshed.

Coming to the cameras, the handset features an 8MP camera with an LED flash and f/2.2 aperture at the rear while the front gets a 5MP front facing unit, that also includes an LED flash.

The device comes with the usual connectivity options that includes 4G LTE, Wi-FI, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

All of the above is powered by a 2,500mAh battery with the entire package weighing in at 166 grams. The handset will be available in Charcoal Black, Royale Gold, Orchid Gold, and Space Grey finishes.
