Now hear this, frustrated Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro users, who, as much as they may like their handsets, were craving for an OS updates, your wait is finally over. The Sony Ericsson Blog had a post just recently stating that Over the Air updates for the Mini and Mini Pro to Android 2.1, aka Eclaire, will be dished out across a few regions and India is one of them. Other countries, should you be living there, include UK, China, the Baltics, Belgium and France. It’s about time.

There’s no word on updates for the Xperia X8 that hit Indian shelves recently; hopefully that will follow soon too. Fingers crossed.
