Samsung foldable phone launch confirmed for 20 February, Galaxy S10 Plus leaked

The 20 February launch event — Galaxy Unpacked — by Samsung has already been building up a lot of excitement, in anticipation of the release of the Galaxy S10 variants, and a smartwatch. Besides these, a much-awaited foldable phone by the company is also rumoured, with no official information on it. Until now. The teaser by Samsung does not explicitly spill out that it’s a foldable phone, but the multiple hints in its, pretty much confirm it. One is the sly use of “future of mobile will unfold” in the tweet caption. Next is the attached video in the tweet, which hints at a wrap-around display. And finally, the text written in the video in Chinese translates to “The Future Unfolds”. What more hints do we need? Additionally, this isn’t the first time that Samsung is teasing the launch of the foldable phone. Earlier this month, Samsung showed off its foldable phone in a **promo video** dropping a hint on what the phone may look like.

From what we know so far, the Samsung foldable phone or Samsung Galaxy Fold, will feature two displays — 4.58-inch one on the front and another 7.3-inch display inside the fold. A **report** also suggested that the Galaxy Fold will come with two batteries, with a total battery capacity between 5,000 to 6,000 mAh. The phone is also rumoured to come with 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB internal storage. On the camera front, we can expect a 12 MP + 12 MP dual camera and an 8 MP front camera. The average retail price of the phone is expected to be $ 1,700. Besides this, just days ahead of the scheduled launch , a banner of the Galaxy S10 Plus has also been leaked. The image of this banner was first shared by tipster Evan Blass. While the design is nothing that we don’t **already know of** , the banner just adds to all the excitement.

So yeah, looks like that's definitely happening... [Thanks, tipster!] pic.twitter.com/CQ0nxrAGh2
