After launching the N95 8GB and now N96, most of the old N95 users would probably feel a bit left out as the advancement continues. However to help curb your “lack” of enthusiasm, Nokia has announced an upgrade in firmware from v21.0.16 to v30.0.015.

Reports state that this new firmware update will allow the old users to get the very best out of the handset with features that include – Nokia Maps 2.0, Full N-Gage client, Update for Flash Lite 3, Enablers for Nokia’s Comes With Music, Share Online 3.0 and Nokia Search 4.0 with Google plug-in. It will also feature an automatic screen rotation function in the settings.

To download the latest update, simply connect the handset to your PC and run the Nokia Handset Update application that comes with the latest version of Nokia PC suite.
