Motorola has SLVRs for every budget with the cheap L2, the affordable L6 and the well-priced L7. The L7 has just been officially updated to the L7e, which not only gets a cosmetic touch up with a purple-blue-ish color (seemingly inspired by the success of the KRZR K1), but also a specifications update with EDGE network support, Bluetooth stereo A2DP and a 1.3-megapixel camera. Fortunately for existing owners of microSD-slot phones, the L7e uses the same memory cards.
The Motorola SLVR L7e should be available in the ‘second half of 2006’. Considering that the second half of 2006 is more than half past, you should see this phone anytime in November or December, but not necessarily in India. No price details yet.
