Moto Z2 Play, Motorola's new flagship phone will be launching in India on June 8. The new modular smartphone will be launched with four new Moto Mods which act as a separate component enhancing the performance of the phone. The Moto Z2 play will be available for pre-booking from 8 June by making a payment of Rs 2,000 across offline stores in India. A form on Motorola's website needs to be filled to get a chance to pre-order the phone.
The website also has information about different offers for the phone. Buyers can purchase the phone on zero interest EMIs for 10 months. Buyers can also use their credit cards to select EMI offers of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months at the stores.
The four new Moto Mods that will be launched with the phone are – the new JBL SoundBoost 2, when attached to the phone will work as audio enhancer, TurboPower Pack Mod which acts as an extra battery to increase the battery life of the phone, new Moto Shells which are the colorful covers to protect the phone, and a new Moto GamePad which can be used as Joystick while playing games.
The new Moto Z2 Play will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone could come in two variants of 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage. It will offer expandable memory option with up to 2 TB using an external microSD card.
The smartphone will feature a 12 MP primary at the back and a 5 MP front camera. Both the front camera and rear will feature a dedicated dual-LED flash. Rest of the features include a 3,510 mAh battery, an octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, Android 7.1 Nougat, water repellent nano-coating, a USB Type-C port and two color options of gray and gold.
