Republic Day: After 2G internet, mobile phone services snapped in Kashmir as precautionary measure

Mobile phone services were snapped in Kashmir on Sunday as a precautionary measure for ensuring smooth passage of Republic Day celebrations in the valley, officials said.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Friday ordered for 2G internet services to be restored in the Kashmir Valley from midnight on the intervening night between Friday and Saturday, reports said.
