Rewari gangrape: SIT arrests one main accused, but army officer still absconding; SP says incident was 'pre-planned'

Earlier in the day, the SIT investigating the Rewari gangrape had arrested two others involved in the case. The accused army officer is still absconding.

One of the Mewat gangrape victims has alleged that their attackers were cow vigilantes but the Haryana police on Saturday said no evidence has so far come to the fore suggesting that the four accused arrested in the case were part of any cow protection group.
