Delhi IPL team's skipper Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge have been together for a while and the news of their engagement was expected, especially after the two of them appeared together at Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech's wedding functions recently.

And after months of speculation, the lovebirds announced their engagement last night on Twitter.
Zaheer shared a picture with Sagarika and wrote, "Never laugh at your wife's choices. You are one of them !!! Partners for life. engaged @sagarikavghatge"

Now we know that the couple has a wedding date in mind too.Talking to Times of India, Sagarika said, "We will discuss all this once the IPL is over. Right now Zak has to practice and once the league is over, we will all sit down and plan the dates and the ceremonies."

Sagarika, who was last seen in Irada is on cloud nine post her engagement, and added that she had no inkling that Zaheer was set to propose to her. "Zak secretly planned our engagement for days; and I honestly had no clue. I had no idea that he had picked up such a pretty ring for me. I can't describe that moment and it will forever remain as something very special between us. We are really blessed," she added.

While this is the news, a DNA source also confirmed that "Sagarika and Zaheer have spoken about it and discussed the possible dates. As of now, they are looking at a date towards the last quarter of 2017."
