Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's Pre-Wedding Festivities: Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone exude royalty for the 'Desi Romance' theme

On the second day of Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities, ‘A Walk on the Wildside’ with ‘jungle fever’ as the suggested dress code and ‘Mela Rouge’, a potpourri of desi activities in the guests’ favourite south Asian attires, were major themes.

But that’s not all, there was another theme that was called the ‘Desi Romance’ theme, where Bollywood stars posed in stunning outfits nd oozed charm and radiance for the grand occasion.

Deepika Padukone wore a golden Sabyasachi lehenga and paired it with backless golden blouse and topped with a shimmering tissue dupatta. Ranveer Singh flaunted a black velvet custom bandhgala designed by Gaurav Gupta, with a traditional black kurta and trousers.

Rani Mukerji radiated exuberance in a stunning red saree complimented by a necklace.

Like always, royal couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan nailed their outfits too. Kareena carried a shimmery gold saree with élan whereas Saif nailed his traditional look in a black Jodhpuri bandhgala.

Celebs like Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, Shreya Ghoshal and Shiamak Davar grooved to Rihanna’s tracks.

After the event, the Barbadian pop icon said that she loved the event and could not wait to return to India soon. “Loved it here, can’t wait to come back,” said Rihanna while leaving Jamnagar after Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding bash.
