On Tuesday night, Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford — the stadium where he spent six glorious seasons with Manchester United.

Ronaldo made his debut for the club on 16 August 2003, and has gone on to become one of the most famous names in world football — and one of the greatest players of his generation.

The Portuguese already scored against his old club when United travelled to the Santiago Bernabeu in February, cancelling out Danny Welbeck’s opener in an entertaining 1-1 draw.

Ronaldo played 292 times for United and scored 118 times and won every possible trophy with the Red Devils.

This season, he has already scored 39 times for Real Madrid.
