After 18 overs,Delhi Daredevils 174/4 ( Corey Anderson 34 , Chris Morris 7)
Bhuvneshwar to bowl his final over, with the game firmly in Delhi’s grasp right now. Dot off the second. FOUR! Well-aimed yorker by Bhuvi towards Anderson’s feet, and it runs away for a four after a deflection off his rear foot. Might have got a faint inside edge, as the umpire did not signal leg byes in that delivery. SIX! Flat hit towards the long-on boundary! Crouched on one knee, and timed it to perfection. 12 off the over. Just a run-a-ball now for Delhi.
Delhi Daredevils need 12 to win from 12 balls.
After 17 overs,Delhi Daredevils 162/4 ( Corey Anderson 23 , Chris Morris 6)
Morris joins Anderson after Iyer, dismissal, and Siraj bowls his final over. The 150 comes up with a couple of singles in the first two balls, before Anderson gets them closer to victory with a mighty heave towards the square-leg boundary! Morris pulls the fifth ball towards the midwicket boundary. Single off the last ball.
Delhi Daredevils need 24 to win from 18 balls.
After 16 overs,Delhi Daredevils 148/4 ( Corey Anderson 15 , )
Warner turns to his go-to man Bhuvi, more out of desperation than anything. The two batsmen look to go big in almost every delivery, but the defensive field ensures their attempt at boundaries gets thwarted each time. Iyer tries to break that with an uppercut in the last ball, and ends up holing out straight to Siraj at short third man to depart for 33.
Delhi Daredevils need 38 to win from 24 balls.
OUT! Warner turns to Bhuvneshwar to break the partnership, and he does exactly that as Iyer uppercuts a short ball straight to Siraj at short third man. DD 148/4
Iyer c Siraj b Bhuvneshwar 33(25)
After 15 overs,Delhi Daredevils 142/3 ( Shreyas Iyer 29 , Corey Anderson 13)
Rashid into his final over, and appeals for an lbw against Anderson in the second ball of the over, though it was missing leg. Iyer nearly gets caught in the final ball of the over, miscuing a slash towards the off-side, with Henriques failing to cover the distance while running towards the ball. Rashid remains wicketless today!
Delhi Daredevils need 44 to win from 30 balls. Unless Hyderabad get a breakthrough right now, Delhi could very well canter to a win.
After 14 overs,Delhi Daredevils 137/3 ( Shreyas Iyer 26 , Corey Anderson 11)
Kaul into his third over. Anderson tries hammering the first ball, a length delivery along off, down the ground, though Warner palms it back into the field near the boundary rope. Anderson smashes the last ball of the over over long-on to end the over in style, with 12 coming off the over.
Delhi Daredevils need 49 to win from 36 balls.
Sunrisers going to get a wake up call that they cant play with 4 bowlers and Moises/Yuvi.... #ipl

After 13 overs,Delhi Daredevils 125/3 ( Shreyas Iyer 23 , Corey Anderson 2)
Yuvraj brought into the attack. The two batsmen decide to exchange singles in the first four deliveries, before Iyer brings Delhi right back in the chase with back-to-back sixes in the last two balls, hammering towards long-on and midwicket, with 16 coming off the over.
Delhi Daredevils need 61 to win from 42 balls.
For me, the bowling discovery of IPL 2017 is Mohd Siraj: bowls with heart, head, good slower ball, but impressively, is quick too! #DDvSRH

Incredible ball by Siraj!!#DDvSRH
— Ajit Agarkar (@imAagarkar) May 2, 2017
After 12 overs,Delhi Daredevils 109/3 ( Shreyas Iyer 9 , Corey Anderson 0)
Siraj into his third over. SIX! Slower ball from Siraj, and Pant has no problem depositing this over this over the midwicket boundary! Siraj responds with a brilliant yorker that deflects to the off-stump off the batsman’s foot. Corey Anderson walks out to bat, and is yet to get off the mark after facing two deliveries.
Delhi Daredevils need 77 to win from 48 balls.
OUT! Right after getting hit for a six, Siraj bowls a terrific yorker — a toe-crusher to be precise — that deflects off his foot to the off-stump! Siraj gets the dangerous Pant against the run of play; DD 109/3
Pant b Siraj 34(20)
After 11 overs,Delhi Daredevils 101/2 ( Rishabh Pant (W) 27 , Shreyas Iyer 8)
Rashid into his third over, and he hasn’t had much of a success today. Iyer goes for a doule in the third ball of the over to bring up the team 100. Appeal for a run-out in the last ball, though Iyer was safely back to the crease.
Delhi Daredevils need 85 to win from 54 balls.
Beautiful running between the wickets and the 100 comes up.#DDTweets #DDvSRH #DilDilliHai

Delhi's punt on dashing young Indian batsmen wasn't ill-founded. Just that they under-performed. Is there some redemption tonite?
— Cricketwallah (@cricketwallah) May 2, 2017
After 10 overs,Delhi Daredevils 96/2 ( Rishabh Pant (W) 24 , Shreyas Iyer 6)
Henriques into his second over. Pant hammers back-to-back boundaries towards the off-side, moving to the 20s in the process. Iyer helps himself to a boundary at the end of the over by flicking it towards the midwicket fence. Superb over for Delhi, with 16 coming off it, as Delhi have a strong chance of a victory at the halfway mark.
Delhi Daredevils need 90 to win from 60 balls.
After 9 overs,Delhi Daredevils 80/2 ( Rishabh Pant (W) 14 , Shreyas Iyer 1)
Rashid into his second over, and he smacks the first ball for a boundary with a sweep. Appeal for an lbw in the next ball, though this one was going down leg. Vicious turn in the fourth ball, with the ball turning by atleast 10 cm or so. Seven off the over, with the wickets hampering some of Delhi’s early progress. New batsman Iyer gets off the mark with a single in the penultimate ball.
Delhi Daredevils need 106 to win from 66 balls.
39 is Karun Nair’s highest score since that triple century against England at Chennai across formats.
After 8 overs,Delhi Daredevils 73/2 ( Rishabh Pant (W) 8 , Shreyas Iyer 0)
Kaul brought into the attack in the eighth over, and he gets the breakthrough in the fourth ball of the over as Nair holes out to Bhuvneshwar at wide long-off. Vicious bouncer in the next ball. Three off the over.
Delhi Daredevils need 113 to win from 72 balls.
OUT! Just when Nair was starting to look set for a half-century, he holes out straight to Bhuvneshwar Kumar at wide long-off, off a slower ball from Kaul! DD 72/2
Nair c Bhuvneshwar b Kaul 39(20)
Great start by DD. Keeping up with the required rate. And now… Rishabh Pant comes to bat at no.3. Finally! Two weeks too late, yes, but better late than never as they say.
After 7 overs,Delhi Daredevils 70/1 ( Karun Nair (C) 38 , Rishabh Pant (W) 7)
Rashid Khan into the attack now. FOUR! Pant sweeps the Afghan leggie towards the fine-leg boundary to get his first boundary! Rashid keeps it tight in the remainder of the over, giving away three singles and a leg bye to give away eight off his first over. And the umpire signals for a timeout at the end of the over.
Delhi Daredevils need 116 to win from 78 balls.
After 6 overs,Delhi Daredevils 62/1 ( Karun Nair (C) 36 , Rishabh Pant (W) 2)
Henriques introduced in the final over of powerplay and starts off with another slower ball, to which Nair goes for the paddle towards fine-leg for a four, and brings up the team 50 in the process. SIX! Nair makes room for a straight smash down the ground! The Karnataka batsman pulls the next one towards the fine-leg boundary to get his fifth boundary. 16 off the over, with Delhi making good use of the fielding restrictions to race away to 62/1 at the end of powerplay
Meanwhile, Nair brings up 1,000 runs in the IPL.
Delhi Daredevils need 124 to win from 84 balls.
After 5 overs,Delhi Daredevils 46/1 ( Karun Nair (C) 21 , Rishabh Pant (W) 1)
Siraj finally gets the breakthrough at the start of the fifth over, as Samson slashes a slower ball straight to Dhawan at point. Rishabh Pant, the new batsman, gets off the mark with a single. FOUR! Nair did not quite middle his attempted inside-out shot, but the ball lands safely in the vacant sweeper cover region. Bhuvneshwar drops Nair in the last ball of the over at short fine after an attempted paddle by the batsman off a fuller delivery.
Delhi Daredevils need 140 to win from 90 balls.
OUT! Siraj gets the breakthrough, and it is Samson who has to walk back after slashing a slower ball straight to Dhawan at point! DD 40/1
Samson c Dhawan b Siraj 24(19)
After 4 overs,Delhi Daredevils 40/0 ( Sanju Samson 24 , Karun Nair (C) 16)
Kaul into the attack for the fourth over. Nair tries lofting the ball towards the leg-side, though he doesn’t quite connect, getting only a single off it. SIX! Nair goes for an uppercut in the penultimate delivery, and Rashid jumps in vain at the third man boundary as the ball sails over his head. FOUR to end the over, with Nair whacking this one down the ground. Delhi off to a spectacular start.
After 3 overs,Delhi Daredevils 28/0 ( Sanju Samson 23 , Karun Nair (C) 5)
Samson gets a couple of runs with a drive towards the gap between mid-off and extra-cover, before he punches the third ball of the third over through cover to get his first boundary. Samson shows his class in the last ball of the over, whacking this one towards the extra-cover boundary. 12 off the over.
After 2 overs,Delhi Daredevils 16/0 ( Sanju Samson 11 , Karun Nair (C) 5)
Siraj from the other end. SIX! Samson gets the first big hit of the innings with a pull over long-on! FOUR MORE! This time Karun Nair gets off the mark, once again targeting a medium-pace short ball after making room for himself. Couple of singles exchanged between the two batsmen in the remainder of the over, with 13 coming off it.
After batting and bowling in the last five matches, it was fielding that led down DD today. Rather they let themselves down for fielding is the one aspect that is totally under their control. There was no stopping Yuvraj Singh once he was given a life. This target is beyond DD if they stick to their tried and tested (but not working) batting formula.
After 1 overs,Delhi Daredevils 3/0 ( Sanju Samson 3 , Karun Nair (C) 0)
Samson slashes the third ball of the over towards third man, which would have been a boundary had it not been for some fantastic fielding by Kaul near the rope that saves two runs for the Sunrisers. Three off the first over.
The players are out at the start of the Delhi innings, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowling to Sanju Samson and Karun Nair.
The highest target successfully chased by Delhi Daredevils at Feroz Shah Kotla is 177. They chased 177 against Mumbai Indians in 2008. They are chasing 186 runs today.
Yuvraj Singh today:
First 26 balls – 29 runs, SR – 111.54
Next 15 balls – 41 runs, SR – 273.33
Delhi Daredevils become the first team against which Yuvraj Singh has scored 400 runs in IPL.
#SRH have put a decent total on the board with 186 for us to chase. Let's pad up boys!#DDTweets #DDvSRH #DilDilliHai

After 20 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 185/3 ( Yuvraj Singh 70 , Moises Henriques 25)
Rabada bowls the final over. Yuvraj creams the first ball through the off side to get his 8th boundary.. What more, it is a front-foot no-ball! Superb ball by Rabada in the free-hit, trapping Yuvraj on the back leg with a yorker. Another full delivery in the second ball, and Yuvraj flicks this one away towards the backwards square-leg boundary! Whacks the next ball towards the off side, though he gets only a single off this one. Single for Henriques in the 4th ball. FOUR! Misfield by Jayant at third man after Yuvraj steers a wide full-toss in that direction, and Delhi’s fielding woes continue! FOUR! Whacked straight down the ground by Yuvraj! 20 off the final over!
Sunrisers Hyderabad finish on 185/3 after 20 overs, and Yuvraj Singh remains unbeaten on 70 off 41 balls.
After 19 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 166/3 ( Yuvraj Singh 53 , Moises Henriques 24)
Morris to bowl the penultimate over. Singles exchanged in the first two deliveries. FOUR! Yuvraj steers the third ball of the over towards third-man, beating the fielder inside the circle. FOUR more in the next ball, this time AYuvraj pulling it towards the midwicket boundary to race to his half-century. 13 off the over, with Henriques grabbing a double in the last ball of the over.
FIFTY for Yuvraj Singh! His 2nd of the ongoing tournament, and his 25th in T20 cricket! Brings up the milestone with a pull towards the midwicket boundary in his 35th delivery!
After 18 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 153/3 ( Yuvraj Singh 43 , Moises Henriques 21)
Rabada into his third over. Henriques guides the length ball towards fine-leg in the first ball to get his first boundary. Yuvraj gets a thick top-edge that carries high over the short fine-leg fielder, and carries all the way to the fence, bringing up the 50-stand. SIX in the next ball, this time coming off a flick by Yuvraj towards the midwicket boundary. Nice comeback by Rabada in the third ball, this time bowling a yorker that gives Yuvraj a single. Henriques steers the last ball towards the square-leg boundary, with 20 coming off the over! Meanwhile, the 150 comes up for SRH!
Few more dangerous players in `death' overs than Yuvraj. Delhi feeling the heat...
— Cricketwallah (@cricketwallah) May 2, 2017
160 has been a threshold Delhi have struggled to score or chase. Should have been able to keep Hyderabad to this but for poor fielding
— Cricketwallah (@cricketwallah) May 2, 2017
After 17 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 133/3 ( Yuvraj Singh 32 , Moises Henriques 12)
Morris back into the attack in the 17th over. Yuvraj and Henriques stick to exchanging singles in the first three deliveries, before Samson drops a dolly at deep midwicket after a mistimed pull by Yuvraj. Samson tried catching this one with hard hands, and the ball simply popped out. Yuvraj goes airborne in the next delivery as well, but the ball lands just short of the fielder at wide long-off. Yuvraj handed a lifeline in this over. Can he make the most of it?
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s run-rate of 5.44 during 7-15 overs today is the lowest for them in this IPL during 7-15 overs.
After 16 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 126/3 ( Yuvraj Singh 28 , Moises Henriques 9)
Shami to bowl his final over. Meanwhile, Pant is keeping the wickets now, while we saw Nair don the gloves earlier. Wide conceded in the second ball, with Shami straying down the leg-side. Similar delivery in the next ball, and Yuvraj guides this one down towards fine-leg. Yuvraj plays the last ball of the over towards the square-leg boundary, where Mathews touches the rope in a valiant dive that results in a boundary. 12 off the over, with Shami being a bit expensive today barring the wickets. The umpire signals for the second timeout.
After 15 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 114/3 ( Yuvraj Singh 19 , Moises Henriques 7)
Mishra into his final over. Massive wide in the second ball. The ball perhaps slipped out of his hands in this case. FOUR! Yuvraj smacks the full-pitched ball down the ground to collect his second boundary. Eight off the over. Mishy bhai signs out with figures of 1/23 from four overs.
After 14 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 106/3 ( Yuvraj Singh 14 , Moises Henriques 5)
Shami into his third over. Yuvraj finally gets going with a flamboyant uppish drive that sends the ball down the ground for a one-bounce four! Drives the next ball as well, but this one is deflected off mid-off’s hands to allow the southpaw to collect a single. Yuvraj gets everything right in his cover drive in the fifth ball, though there is protection at sweeper cover to prevent a boundary. Eight off the over.
After 13 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 98/3 ( Yuvraj Singh 8 , Moises Henriques 3)
Mishra into his third over, and he has been very consistent so far, and his variations have helped stem the run-flow for the Sunrisers. Just three singles and a double in this over, with Henriques getting off the mark in this over.
After 12 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 93/2 ( Yuvraj Singh 4, Moises Henriques 0)
Shami back into the attack for his 2nd over, and this time gets rid of classy Kiwi batsman Kane Williamson, who holes out to Morris at the square-leg boundary while pulling a short ball outside off. Excellent over by the speedster, with just three runs coming off the over along with the wicket. An Aussie replaces a Kiwi, as Henriques walks out to bat now.
OUT! Shami strikes again, this time getting rid of the dangerous Williamson, who perishes after trying to pull a bouncer! SRH 92/3
Williamson c Morris b Shami 24(24)
After 11 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 90/2 ( Kane Williamson 23 , Yuvraj Singh 4)
Mishra into his 2nd over. Williamson opens the face of his bat in the fourth ball, and deftly guides it past the diving short third man to get his first boundary. Seven off the over.
Kane Williamson is the key wicket here. He has shown in this IPL previously how he can change gears at the blink of an eye. Currently, he is satisfied rotating strike. But DD will want him gone before he starts hitting big. The hosts will not want to chase anything above 160 here.
After 10 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 83/2 ( Kane Williamson 23 , Yuvraj Singh 4)
Mishra into his 2nd over. Williamson opens the face of his bat in the fourth ball, and deftly guides it past the diving short third man to get his first boundary. Seven off the over.
After 10 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 83/2 ( Kane Williamson 17 , Yuvraj Singh 3)
Captain Nair continues with spin from both ends for now, with Jayant bowling his final over. The offie bowls a tight final over, with just five singles coming off it. The run-rate has definitely slowed down post the powerplay, and the two batsmen at the crease will look to settle down before going for the shots.
After 9 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 78/2 ( Kane Williamson 15 , Yuvraj Singh 1)
Mishra is introduced into the attack right after the timeout, and gets the second breakthrough as Dhawan sweeps towards the long-leg boundary, where Iyer takes a fine running catch. Yuvraj Singh is the new batsman at the crease. Just three off this over.
Amit Mishra has taken 51 wickets from 37 T20 matches at a strike rate of 15.2 at Delhi which is the most by any bowler at the venue in T20 cricket. However, in this IPL, he has picked up only seven wickets from eight matches at a strike rate of 18.71 before today.
OUT! Now it is Amit Mishra’s turn to strike, as Dhawan sweeps straight into the hands of the fielder running in from long-leg. SRH 75/2
Dhawan c Iyer b Mishra 28(17)
After 8 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 75/1 ( Shikhar Dhawan 28 , Kane Williamson 13)
Jayant into his third over. Williamson tries rocking back and going for a backfoot punch in the third ball, only to get beaten fair and square. Williamson gets a six in the penultimate delivery, pulling a half-track wide outside leg. Eight off the over, with the umpire calling for the timeout at the end of the over.
After 7 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 67/1 ( Shikhar Dhawan 27 , Kane Williamson 6)
Morris starts his second over with a slower ball. And a much better one for the Daredevils, with just one run being conceded off it.
Most runs scored by SRH in powerplay overs in this IPL:
79/0 v KKR at Hyderabad (RGS)
66/1 v DD at Delhi*
60/0 v KXIP at Mohali
After 6 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 66/1 ( Shikhar Dhawan 27 , Kane Williamson 5)
Shami brought into the attack in the final over of powerplay, and Warner brings up the third fifty-stand with Dhawan of this tournament with a pull towards midwicket. BOWLED EM! Warner’s off-stump goes for a walk after getting beaten by a Shami yorker!
Williamson walks out, and gets four leg byes for the team in the first ball that he faces, before an pointless throw in the following delivery during a quick single runs all the way to the boundary to give him 5 runs and get him off the mark. Another boundary to end the over, with Dhawan pulling the last ball towards the fine-leg boundary.
End of powerplay, with Hyderabad in the driver’s seat despite the early wicket.
Kane Williamson’s batting average of 68.00 in this IPL is the best among players who have atleast scored 150 runs before today. He has scored 204 runs from four innings at a strike rate of 174.36.

After 5 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 49/0 ( David Warner (C) 26 , Shikhar Dhawan 23)
Rabada into his second over, and starts off with an off-cutter, that Warner whacks towards the wide long-on boundary after making room for himself. Rabada then follows it up with a yorker that Warner get only get a single off. Nine off the over.
After 4 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 40/0 ( David Warner (C) 18 , Shikhar Dhawan 22)
Another South African in the attack, this time it’s Morris. Dhawan’s offered ample room for a cracking cover drive in the 2nd delivery. SIX! Dhawan flicks the fifth ball for a six towards the cow-corner boundary, before finishing the over with a cut for his 2nd four of the over. 15 off the over.
DD would have liked to see the back of David Warner quickly. Hasn’t happened. The energy seems missing from the fielding bunch, and for obvious reason. Warner opening up nicely here. Could be a long night for DD if he keeps going.
After 3 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 25/0 ( David Warner (C) 17 , Shikhar Dhawan 8)
Jayant appeals for an lbw against Warner once again in this over, and the umpire’s decision still is a no. Warner unleashes a switch-hit in the fourth delivery, and clears the point boundary with ease. Bit of a mix-up between Warner and Dhawan in the last ball of the over for an extra-single, though no damage is done.
After 2 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 15/0 ( David Warner (C) 10 , Shikhar Dhawan 5)
Rabada bowling from the other end. FOUR! Now Dhawan helps himself to a boundary at the start of the second over. Flicks the full delivery from KG towards backward square-leg. Second boundary for Warner in the fifth ball, this time going inside out wide of mid-off. Finds the gap again in the last ball, this time towards midwicket, though he can get only a couple of runs.
After 1 overs,Sunrisers Hyderabad 4/0 ( David Warner (C) 4 , Shikhar Dhawan 0)
Appeal for an lbw against Warner in the very first ball of the innings, though the ball seemed to be headed down the leg side. Next ball, Warner slashes through point to get his team off the mark with a boundary. Those are all the runs that are scored in the over. Jayant seems to be getting some turn early in the innings.
Warner and Dhawan walk out to bat, with Jayant Yadav starting the proceedings for Delhi.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost only four wickets in powerplay overs in this IPL which is the fewest among all the teams.
David Warner has scored 459 runs in this IPL at an average of 65.57 and a strike rate of 150.99 which is the most by any batsman so far. Moreover, he has hit 22 sixes in this IPL which is also the most by any batsman. He has scored 643 runs from 25 innings at Delhi at an average of 30.62 which is the third most by any batsman at the venue in IPL.
Delhi Daredevils have lost six out of nine matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. Moreover, at Delhi, they have lost both the matches against them in IPL.
Delhi Daredevils have not played with same XI for 30 consecutive matches now. The last time they played with same XI in consecutive matches was in IPL 8.
After several sub-par performances, Delhi are in a `nothing to lose' situation. That should be seen as a serious threat by Hyderabad!

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of another match of IPL 2017, as Delhi Daredevils take on defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad at home. Delhi simply have to win to harbour even the slimmest hope of making it to the play-offs. Sunrisers, on the other hand, fresh from an emphatic win over the in-form Kolkata Knight Riders, would be a tough nut to crack though. Delhi had suffered a massive debacle in their previous match, when they were bundled out for 67 by Kings XI Punjab at Mohali, with the home team winning by 10 wickets and within 8 overs of their innings. Delhi would desperately try to overturn the string of poor results that they have had, while SRH would want to go one step closer to a play-off berth. So there is a lot to play for for both teams.
