Shweta Bhatt, Congress candidate from Maninagar constituency in Ahmedabad and wife of suspended IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt, said that she can fight well when she is in trouble.
“I fight well when I am trouble,” Shweta told CNN-IBN.
The Congress has fielded Shweta against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the poll battle. The IPS officer is already known to be a bete noire of the chief minister. Determined to win the political battle, Shweta said, “I want to defeat Narendra Modi.”
However, Shweta wanted herself not to be considered as a typical politician.
“I don’t want to make false promises. I can’t solve problems written on post cards and sent to me,” Shweta told CNN-IBN in Ahmedabad.
The state votes on 13 and 17 December. The counting is scheduled on 20 December.
