In print: Omniscient police, dumped martyrs and DMK's ditch

This morning newspapers in the national capital focus on how the newly constituted Public Accounts Committee under the chairmanship of the BJP leader M.M. Joshi is at loggerheads with the government again. Apart from the obvious discord there is also indication that disgruntled government allies the DMK, and the under-attack BSP are now actively supporting the opposition.

The breakthrough in the Jey Dey case also gets prominent mention in all the newspapers, though one must wonder how the police are suddenly able to get all these answers so easily. And finally, a thought about the reactions following a report that the bodies of policemen killed in a Naxal attack were brought back in a Municipal garbage truck. Was the media overreacting? We certainly thought so.
