'Rahul Gandhi has sunk to a new low': BJP slams Congress leader for his 'demeaning' remarks against Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Taking to their official X account, BJP Karnataka tweeted- “Frustrated by constant rejections by Indians, Rahul Gandhi has sunk to a new low of demeaning India’s Pride Aishwarya Rai.”

During the recent the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Uttar Pradesh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke about the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir and how it was not attended by the OBC, Dalit or tribal communities that comprise of over 73 percent of the country’s population. Gandhi was quoted saying, “Television channels only show Aishwarya Rai dancing. They don’t show anything about the poor people. They show Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan 24 hours.”

Reacting to the statement, BJP slammed the Congress leader for his demeaning remarks against the actress and said on X- “Congress Clown Prince @RahulGandhi now has a dangerous & creepy obsession with successful & self-made women. Frustrated by constant rejections by Indians, Rahul Gandhi has sunk to a new low of demeaning India’s Pride Aishwarya Rai.“

The tweet added, “A fourth-generation dynast, with zero achievements, now resorts to slurs against Aishwarya Rai, who has brought more glory to India & than Rahul Gandhi’s entire family.”

Bollywood celebrities and film stars started arriving in Ayodhya for the grand inauguration ceremony of the historic Ram Temple. While many were papped leaving for Ayodhya, actors were also spotted landing in the holy city on Monday morning.

Joining the likes of the celebrities, actor  Amitabh Bachchan along with his actor-son Abhishek Bachchan also arrived in Ayodhya. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan joined other celebrities in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir on Monday, 22 January.

Ahead of the ceremony, several pictures and videos of the father-son duo from the airport and later from the temple premises were going viral on social media.
