Get your F-1 party on: The Delhi guide to the hottest off-track action

For all F1 enthusiasts, Delhi is ‘the’ place to be. You can hate the sport, love it, but you definitely can’t ignore it if you’re in town. Host to the first ever F1 in the country, the nation’s capital is geared up to offer the ultimate weekend for everyone. So sigh not if you can’t make it to the races or to the overpriced celebrity parties. There are plenty other ways to have rocking F-1 time.

We’ve rounded up a list of places in Delhi where you can catch all the off-track sporting action.

Oct 28, Crowne Plaza, Gurgaon: Cuban Brothers combine music, comedy, and incredibly energetic dancing. Also, spinning the decks will be DJ Seb Fontaine, known globally for his electronic music.

Oct 30, Durbar Hall, Taj Palace, Dhaula Kuan: Super-hot performances by pop icon Boy George, Marc Vedo, The Cuban Brothers and Formula 1 driver-turned-DJ, Sakon Yamamoto.

Amber Lounge at Hotel Claridges, Surajkund, Oct 29 and Oct 30, 10pm onwards: Amber Lounge is known to attract the biggest names in the entertainment business, post F1 parties, globally. Be there to catch drivers, models, Bollywood celebs, and socialites enjoying music played by DJ Aqeel, Mickey, and Jack E’s peppy mix.

Oct 28- Oct 30, 11 am-6pm, Snack Set Go at New Town Lounge, Park Plaza, Sector 55, Noida : Snack on delicious munchies, choose your preferred drink from the menu and lie back to enjoy all the live F1 action on the big screens.

Fast and the Furious at Knight Rider, CP, Oct 28-Oct 31, noon onwards: A special snacks and cocktail menu has been designed to be in sync with the F1.

Fast One at TGIFriday’s at all outlets, Oct 28-Oct30, noon onwards: Racing games on iPads and attractive merchandise can be won while sipping on a heady mix of cocktails over great company and super food.

F1 Fun at Pebble Street, Community Centre, NFC, Oct 28-Oct 30, noon onwards: Car tyres, team flags, and F1 accessories set the mood indoors along-with giant screens

Race On at Barrique, Cyber City, DLF Phase 3, Gurgaon, Oct 28-Oct 30, noon onwards: Have fun with your friends on great deals on snacks and drinks while watching the race.

Help Yourself at Route 04, CP, Gurgaon and Khan Market, Oct 28-Oct30, 11 am to midnight: Enjoy live F1 action on screen with unlimited helping of snacks along with beer at pocket-friendly prices.

Get Going at café Cruise, City Square Mall, Rajouri Garden, Oct 28-Oct 30, 3pm to 11:30 pm: Get into the F1 mode , order three pints of beer and get four free along with unlimited servings of snacks.

Lap Up at Zook, Community Complex, Saket, Oct 28-Oct30, noon-midnight: Sip on a free drink with every drink you order and enjoy special offers on every lap.

Long Drive at Café 1 Bar, Behind Select Citywalk, Oct 28-Oct 30, 1 pm, to midnight: Enjoy unlimited Irish and Mexican beer at a great price and a chance to have your starters for free if the driver you vote for wins.

After Race Blast at Radisson Blu Hotel, C-8, 2nd Cross Avenue Road, Kasna, Greater Noida, Oct 30, 6 pm onwards: Enjoy buffet, drinks, pulsating music, company of pit girls, and catch the action live at the After Party with DJ Amely. The party here holds the promise of rubbing shoulders with racers and celebs.

F1 fiesta at Bar Mannekin, Kasbah, N2, GK 1, October 28-Oct 30, 12:30 pm till midnight: Catch all the live action on the big screen over specially crafted F1 menus.

Guzzling Action at Copper bar, Crowne Plaza Today, Okhla, Oct 28-Oct 30, 11 am-1 am: Enjoy unlimited drinks, snacks, and all the F1 action.

F1 fever at F1 Bar and Lounge, October 28, 10 pm onwards: Groove to DJs Mash and Ashim’s beats at the weekend blast and get up, close and personal with the Marlboro F1 car on display.

Take an extra lap to catch the teams at: Team Ferrari @ Hotel Eros, managed by Hilton; Nehru Place, 2. MRF and Bahrain Marshals @ Hotel Lalit, Barakhamba Avenue; and Mercedes, Virgin, and Renault @ Hotel Claridges, Surajkund.

Car Spotting at Delhi Duty Free, T3, Indira Gandhi International Airport, till Oct 30: F1 cars of Shahara Force India, Mercedes McLaren and Ferrari bteams on display and lots of F1 merchandise to shop.
