West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated the students who scored well, and those who even appeared for the Class 10 board exam as the West Bengal board released the exam results on Tuesday.

Two second rankers in West Bengal Class 10 exam

Shreyashi Paul and Debasmita Saha secured the second rank in the West Bengal Madhyamik or Class 10 exam with a percentage of 98.71 percent.

Meanwhile, BSE Odisha declares Class 10 exam results

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha declared the Class 10 exam 2019 results on Tuesday. The results are now available on the official websites bseodisha.ac.in and orissaresults.nic.in.

Sougata Das is top ranker with 99%

Sougata Das from the Muhammadpur Desopran Vidyapeeth school has secured the top rank with 99.14 percent, or 694 marks in the West Bengal Class 10 exams.

East Medinipur fares among West Bengal districts

As per the update given by the West Bengal board in the press conference at 9 am, the East Medinipur district has secured the spot of the best performing district with a pass percentage of 96.01 percent.

Kolkata district came in second, while West Midnapore has secured the third on the list.

10 lakh students to check West Bengal Class 10 results 

This year, a total of 10.66 lakh students appeared for the West Bengal Madhyamik exams, which were conducted between 12 and 22 February.
