No merit list for RBSE students this year

Since 2017, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has decided not to announce the merit list of board examinations. RBSE took the decision after the board was facing problems with the system and declaring merit list was instilling pressure among students, The Indian Express reported.

Performance of private school students better than govt ones

This year, the performance of private school was better than the government schools in RBSE. Around 77.02 percent students of government schools and 83.31 percent pupils of private schools have passed.

Girls outshine boys after 2015 by a narrow margin 

 The total pass percentage of the examination is 79.86. The pass percentage of girls is 79.95 while that of boys is 79.79 percent. After 3 years, girls have outshone boys in the Class 10 results. Boys have been outperforming the girls, except in 2015, when girls secured 0.54 pass percentage more than the boys.

RBSE to award meritorious students with scholarships and laptops

According to Financial Express , the RBSE will reward meritorious students in the annual convocation and first, second and third positions will be awarded. The Rajasthan board, Ajmer provides a list of marks to the government so that they can take a call on the distribution of scholarships, laptops and Gargi awards to top scorers.

Here’s what to do after the results

After passing the Class 10th examination, students can apply in different schools of Rajasthan. They can opt for the streams, i.e. science, commerce and arts as per their choice. The admission to the Class 11th class depends on students’ performance in Class 10th exam. The school releases the merit list for science, commerce and arts streams. Once the merit list is published by the schools, candidates can get admission on the basis of it. Admission forms given by different schools have to be filled up separately.

In Rajasthan, boys have been outperforming the girls consistently

In Rajasthan, boys have been outperforming the girls except in 2015, when girls secured 0.54 pass percentage more than the boys. An estimate of 10,99,000 students took the exam in 2017 and in 2015-16, around 9.32 lakh students had appeared for the exam with an overall pass percentage of 92.73 percent, The Indian Express reported.

The overall pass percentage in the BSER Class 10th Results 2018 is 79.86

According to News 18 , the pass percentage is 79.86. The RBSE published the results for the 2018 batch on its official website at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.

– Look for the link which says Rajasthan Board Results 2018, RBSE Class 10 result 2018

– Enter your roll number and click on submit

– Download the result and take a printout for future reference

– Students can also check their Rajasthan Board Class 10th result 2018, via SMS by sending  RESULTRAJ10 to 56263.

Students can also check the results through other apps available at the google play store. where to get the results via app, candidates have to pre-register their roll number.

RBSE Class 10th Result 2018 declared; check on rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in

The Rajasthan Board has declared the results of Class 10 at 3.15 pm on Monday. Students can check the results here.  The BSER conducted the Rajasthan Class 10 board exams from 15 March to 26 March this year.

Around 33,564 students did not turn up for examination this year

This year, a total of 33,564 students did not turn up for the examination. According to The Times of India , In 2018, about 5,37,259 students had registered for the Rajasthan Board Class 12 Arts examination, of which 2,14,411 got the first division, a total 2,25,291 students scored second division while the third division has been bagged by 24,864 students.

In 2017, boys had outperformed girls by scoring 79.01 percent while girls scored a little less with 78.89 percent. The overall pass percentage of Class 10 was 78.96 percent, media reports said.

Officials had earlier announced results would be declared after 10 June

Earlier, the officials had confirmed to the local dailies that the result would be declared after 10 June . More than 10 lakh students appeared for the Rajasthan Class 10th 2018 exam. The board has already announced the result for Class 12th Science and Commerce stream students. The RBSE Class 12th exams were held in Rajasthan between 8 March and 2 April.

How to check RBSE 10th result via SMS

The BSER conducted the Rajasthan Class 10 board exams from 15 March to 26 March this year. Students can also check their Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education Class 10th result 2018 (RBSE 10th Result 2018) on their mobile phone, type (in all caps) RESULTRAJ10ROLL NUMBER and send it to 56263.

In 2017, 10,72,799 students sat for the exam

Last year, the result of SSC or Class 10 examinations were declared in June. A total of 10,72,799 students sat for the exam, of which 4,83,282 were boys and 3,63,781 were girls.

Rajasthan Board Class 10 results to be announced at 3.15 pm

The result of RBSE Class 10 examination will be announced on Monday at 3.15 pm.  A total of 10,82,972 students who have appeared for the examination can check the results through the official websites.
