At least one person has been killed and 15 injured in Telangana as violence against the Centre’s Agnipath scheme spread to southern states on Friday. Unrest over the four-year recruitment plan for the armed forces continued for the third day in multiple states including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana. Bihar In Bihar which has witnessed one of the worst violence during the ongoing stir, the government has suspended internet services in twelve districts including Aurangabad and Lakhisarai, till 19 June.
Internet services will remain temporarily suspended in Kaimer, Bhojpur, Aurangabad, Rohtas, Buxer, Nawada, West Champaran, Samastipur, Lakhisarai, Begusarai, Vaishali and Saran districts from today till 19th June: Bihar govt pic.twitter.com/H9fBtp9vxh

Earlier in the day, mobs set ablaze several trains in railway stations across the state. They blocked tracks and torched a train in Lakhisarai.
A 1,500-strong mob vandalised public property at the Danapur Railway Station in capital Patna.

Haryana The government has ordered the suspension of mobile internet services, all SMS services in" view of potential law and order situation" for the next 24 hours.

As many as 340 train services have been affected due to the protests across the country. Centre relaxes Agnipath rules Amid the protests, the government on Thursday relaxed Aginath entry rules by giving a one-time age waiver to candidates. The maximum age to apply for the scheme has been raised to 23 from 21. The minimum age remains 17.5 years. What are protesters demanding? Demonstrators have raised objections to the scheme’s short four-year tenure and the lack of pensions for Agniveers. There have raised concerns over career opportunities after an Agniveer’s term.
