That was quite the clinical performance from Rajasthan Royals to start a new season and finishing runners-up in 2022, out-batting, out-bowling and out-fielding the Sunrisers Hyderabad and jumping to the top of the IPL points table after getting a massive bump in their Net Run Rate.

Sunrisers have a lot to ponder over, especially the way their bowlers were tonked all over the park during the powerplay and the way the top-order crumbled at the sight of some sensational swing bowling from Trent Boult, although the ‘Orange Army’ will be hopeful of mounting a comeback in their next game in which Aiden Markram will play his first game as the captain of the side.
