India opted for an unchanged XI in the crucial Asia Cup Super 4s fixture against Bangladesh in Dubai, in which the Bangla Tigers won the toss and opted to field. With a place in the final on the line, the Men in Blue opted against deviating from the winning combination – which has Jasprit Bumrah as the lone frontline pace option and three options, including all-rounder Axar Patel.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, made as many as four changes to their lineup including a forced change – with wicketkeeper-batter Jaker Ali filling in as captain for Litton Das, who was revealed to have suffered an injury during toss.
“He (Litton) got injured during a practice session and unfortunately misses out on this crucial game. I am excited and looking forward to this game. We are doing really well as a team and we will try to give our best,” Jaker said during toss, explaining Litton’s absence in the crucial game against the Men in Blue.
Besides Litton, pacers Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam and off-spinner Mahedi Hasan were benched for Wednesday’s game. Top-order batter Parvez Hossain Emon and leg-spinner Rishad Hossain were brought in along with pacers Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Mohammad Saifuddin.
