Ahead of the Bihar elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be in addressing rallies in Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur. These rallies are part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) push to consolidate support in the state, with the election process taking place in multiple phases.
The campaign has intensified, with key leaders from both the NDA and the opposition Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) holding rallies across the state. Earlier this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also launched the NDA’s campaign in Bihar.
General election in the Netherlands
The Netherlands will hold a general election on October 29 after the previous government collapsed.
In June 2025, the far-right Party for Freedom (PVV), led by Geert Wilders, withdrew from the governing coalition. The move was prompted by disagreements over Wilders’ proposed hardline asylum policies, which included border patrols by the military.
