Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha, who got engaged to actress Parineeti Chopra in an intimate ceremony on 13 May at Delhi’s Kapurthala House, was all smiles when asked about their marriage date. As the couple’s wedding and reception ‘invite’ has been making rounds on the internet, people are leaving no stone unturned to know fresh details about the power couple’s marriage. In a latest press conference, when inquired about the approaching date, the groom - who is a former vice chairman of the Delhi Jal Board - smiled and said, “Aapko bohot jaldi bataunga shaadi ke baare mei (will tell you very soon about the wedding).”

Based on the wedding card making rounds online, Raghav Chadha will tie the knot to the Ishaqzaade star on 24 September, with several media reports pointing the destination to be Leela Palace in Udaipur followed by a 90s Bollywood-themed party. The pre-wedding festivities will however begin on 23 September, as per the wedding card.

As part of the festivities, a reception will take place at Taj Chandigarh on 30 September.
‘Magical and organic’
In a recent interview with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, Raghav Chadha described his meeting with Parineeti Chopra as ’nothing short of magic’. The 34-year-old politician while calling it ‘magical and organic’, asserted, “It is something that I thank God every day for, for giving me Parineeti in my life.”
When told that the entire nation was rejoicing at their union, Raghav Chadha stated, “Main desh se zyada khush hoon (I am happier than the country).”
Work front
Professionally, Parineeti Chopra has wrapped shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila, opposite Diljit Dosanjh. The actress is currently awaiting the release of Mission Raniganj, where she will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar.
The 34-year-old Uunchai actress is also working on The Great Indian Rescue, a survival-thriller alongside Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Ravi Kishan in pivotal roles. The film is set for release on 6 October.
On the other hand, Raghav Chadha - who is the youngest Member of Parliament’s Rajya Sabha from Punjab - previously served as the vice chairman of the Delhi Jal Board. He was also an MLA from the Rajendra Nagar assembly constituency in Delhi till 2022.
