Simmba’s success party

Rohit Shetty’s Simbaa is a blockbuster and is soon reaching the 200 cr mark at the box office. Produced by Karan Johar, the film stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in the lead. To celebrate the success, the makers hosted a success bash in Mumbai on Monday with Shetty bringing together his Singham (Ajay Devgn), Simmba (Ranveer Singh) and his Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar).

Ranveer Singh posed for the cover of CineBlitz magazine for their January edition. It was a successful year for Singh with superhits like Padmaavat and Simmba. True to his personality, Singh’s look is a nod to his quirky style.

Last week, Ranveer Singh released the first teaser of Gully boy and it was got everyone praising Singh’s rapping skills. The trailer of this coming-of-age musical will be unveiled on 9 January.

HBO teased its audience with footage from their great lineup of shows for 2019. The lineup includes shows like Watchmen, Big Little Lies , Mahershala Ali-starrer True Detective , political satire Veep , Euphoria, Catherine the Great and Chernobyl. The video features In the brief footage from  Game of Thrones, Daenerys is seen being introduced to Sansa, who currently holds the fort at Winterfell, by Jon, after their arrival from Dragonstone. “Winterfell is yours, your grace,” Sansa says to Daenerys.

The first look for Satellite Shankar, starring Sooraj Pancholi, released today. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, T-Series and Cine 1 Studios, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde, Satellite Shankar revolves around the adventures of a soldier and how he discovers India and in return how the country discovers him. Directed by Irfan Kamal, the movie is slated to release on 5 July, 2019.
