Rajkumar Hirani hospitalised after bike accident, Aamir Khan says he's fine

Mumbai: PK filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani met with a bike accident on Tuesday morning and was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital here. He is fine and will get discharged soon, a hospital official said.

Hirani reportedly fell off a motorbike, injured his jaw and ended up with a gash on the chin.

Hindustan Times reports that the 52-year-old director was apparently riding a bike belonging to his staff member but couldn’t manage the weight of the Royal Enfield Bullet bike. He skidded and fell but as he was driving slow, the injuries were not severe.

However, Hirani is fine, and actor Aamir Khan also tweeted about it:

On being contacted, a hospital official told IANS, “He is getting discharged. He is absolutely fine and nothing serious.

The 52-year-old filmmaker has given blockbuster hits like 3 Idiots and the Munnabhai series.
