Anita Advani, who reportedly was Rajesh Khanna’s companion for the past eight years and stayed with him in his Carter Road bungalow Aashirwad in Mumbai, has refuted allegations that she is eyeing the late actor’s property.
Reports had surfaced a few days back that Advani had served Khanna’s family a notice to prevent them from evicting her from Khanna’s residence which she had been sharing with the actor for the past eight years.
However, in an IBN Live report, Advani is seen rubbishing the claims made in the previous media reports. “I want Aashirwad to be turned into a museum. This was Kakaji’s last wish and I want to honour the same,” she said.
Asked if she had served a notice to the Khanna family, she said that she has done no such thing and reports claiming the same were false. “I have no vested interest in Aashirwad. All these are lies,” she said. Advani added that she has not spoken to the family either in the last few days.
